Rustic Resilience

Another 1970’s closed off kitchen needed opening and updating. This project merges rich, rustic textures with robust functionality, creating a warm sanctuary built for a couple and their two large pups. We used character-grade alder cabinetry and durable, aged luxury vinyl flooring to ensure the space withstands daily wear without sacrificing charm. The kitchen is anchored by a bespoke focal point: custom-designed and made-to-order backsplash deco tiles crafted by a local Alaska artist, adding an exclusive, regional touch to this comfortable, enduring design.
